RPO Practice Lead, Asia Pacific and Middle East​, Country Manager – ManpowerGroup Philippines

Rommel Roque is a member of ManpowerGroup’s Global Leadership Team and the Country Manager for its Philippine Operation. Rommel is also the executive sponsor and regional lead for ManpowerGroup’s Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) organization providing strategies, policies and best practices for the Asia Pacific and Middle East (APME) region. He is a subject matter expert on the company’s Borderless Talent Solutions (BTS) offering, where his knowledge in global talent migration patterns, challenges and solutions delivers an important role. Rommel is also concurrently President of Prime Manpower Resources Development, Inc., the Philippine affiliate of ManpowerGroup for permanent recruitment, executive search, RPO and international resourcing solutions.

​Rommel joined ManpowerGroup in the Philippines in 2007 where he led the launch of interfacing systems for key accounts and worked on designing unique workforce solutions for strategic clients. In 2009, he was tapped to head ManpowerGroup’s Borderless Talent Solutions organization, handling one of ManpowerGroup’s largest operations (Japan) and was promoted to Regional Director for Asia Pacific and the Middle East in 2011. He was appointed as Country Manager for Philippines in December 2012.

​Rommel has 20 years of experience in general management, finance, and sales and marketing. He has held operational and senior positions in engineering, electronics, telecommunications and human resource services. He is an industry Thought Leader and has been invited as key resource to speaking engagements locally and abroad. He has extensive global, regional and local experience and has implemented top-level strategies resulting in company turnarounds.

​Rommel holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and Marketing from Nihon University in Japan. He is fluent in written and spoken English, Filipino, and Japanese.
