Ian Symes was promoted to Global Brand Leader and Executive Vice President (EVP) Europe for ManpowerGroup’s Talent Solutions Right Management business in 2019, following roles as EVP North America & Europe, EVP Europe and General Manager for the UK & Ireland.

Professional Experience

Ian has more than 25 years’ business experience in senior executive roles in HR & Technology Services, Technology products and Consumer Products with ManpowerGroup, Electrolux and Cisco. He also established his own strategic marketing consultancy with international clients in Services, Consumer and Technology products.

Business/Organisational Experience

Ian enjoys building market-focused businesses and brands, empowered by strong teams. He has been an agent of change across his career, identifying and creating new market segments that build value and transform markets. Ian has over 30 years’ experience working outside the UK and is a passionate advocate of bringing diverse talent into teams.

Education and Training

Ian has an honours degree in Chemistry with Management from the University of London, a Diploma in Marketing and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
