ManpowerGroup Counts on Innovative and Future Oriented Mobility Concept
ManpowerGroup Germany, with 160 locations nationwide, sees itself as a pioneer in climate protection. "We have set ourselves climate neutrality as a binding goal and are the first HR services provider to have this goal externally validated. For many years we have already been active in climate protection, we received multiple awards and show this transparent in our annual ESG report," says Eric de Jonge, Country Manager Germany, explaining the ManpowerGroup's claim. The holistic mobility concept for the company's employees is an important influencing factor with which the company combines sustainability and flexibility. "When it came to future mobility, it was important to us to not only think in terms of vehicle fleet, but also offer a variety of mobility options and to combine them in the best possible way," says Terry Cade, Financial Director Germany.
Mobility-Mix From a Single Source
With the mobility manager Belmoto, ManpowerGroup has a strategic partner at its side who offers the Group both consulting and all mobility services from a single source - from leasing and car subscription to job bike and electromobility. The two companies have already been working together in a partnership on fleet management for several years and have also developed the mobility concept together. Based on a comprehensive analysis, a multi-stage implementation plan was developed that is fully in line with the workforce solutions company’s net zero goal.
"In our company fleet we have already converted 35 percent from leasing to car subscription," states fleet manager Dirk Arndt about a first step. Through this the company can react flexibly and quickly when the demand for company cars changes. This saves CO₂ as well as costs. In addition, the workforce solutions company recently introduced a bicycle leasing offer to its employees since flexibility and sustainability are becoming more and more important. Particularly in metropolitan areas, employees increasingly make the conscious decision to go without a car and instead wish to have a free choice of sharing offers and public transportation.
Mobility Policy of The Future
On the way to climate neutrality, ManpowerGroup picks up on this trend and is currently developing a mobility policy for the future that integrates even more sustainable mobility alternatives. Under discussion are for example, the introduction of the Belmoto Mobility Card and a mobility budget that conveniently combines the individual use of several mobility options.
